Produced and Directed a launch video for Roundtable AI targeted primarily towards potential investors.
BRIEF
Co-founders Mayank and Matt needed their startup to stand out amongst a crowded San Francisco AI scene with an introduction video for their company, Roundtable AI - an online authenticator that prevents bots and fraud invisibly, replacing annoying and ineffective CAPTCHAs. It was important that the video speaks not only to potential investors, but also to the general public to serve evolving marketing strategies.
CREATIVE STRATEGY
- Personal and Authentic: As a critical first step in positioning Roundtable AI as vital to our social and online health in the coming AI era, the company’s origin story should shine in order to highlight the mission and human-forward ethos - AI should help us, not hurt us.
- Emphasize the Problem: Narrative structure underscores Roundtable’s lucrative solution.
- Speak to the Lay Person: Simple language and thorough demos work to explain the tech and invite in potential customers that might otherwise feel isolated by industry and comp-sci jargon.
EXECUTION
- The relaxed and friendly on-set environment allowed the co-founders to feel more comfortable under the lights.
- Directed them to get off script and explain their protocols as if we were at dinner together.
Kavita and her team helped us conceptualize, plan, and execute a launch video to introduce our company to prospective customers, investors, and employees. Specifically, she was invaluable in how to communicate scientific/technical material effectively to a largely non-technical audience, and she coached our team well during video production. We were extremely happy with the end result, which integrated first-party video footage with animations, product demos, and external clips. The process took faster than expected, and Kavita and her team exhibited top-tier professionalism at every stage of the production.
